Uses:
▪ Tying masonry to masonry for structural (load bearing) & non-structual intersecting CMU walls.
Advantages:
▪ Simple and economical to install.
▪ Performs well and can be bent flush out of the way against the CMU to reduce the
safety hazard.
▪ Pliable enough to be bent back into the bed joint when the intersecting wall is constructed.
▪ Reduces safety concerns present with Z straps or protruding wire reinforcement.
